Los Gauchos Outfitters is proud to provide fishing as well as hunting year round.  While duck season is over until May 2010, our dove and pigeon hunting trips are available and with springtime weather coming to Argentina and Uruguay, now is a perfect time to hunt doves and/or pigeons in Argentina or Uruguay.  Spring is also a great time for dorado fishing in Uruguay.  These fresh water fish are fun to fish - active and abundant in the waters that separate Argentina from Uruguay.

Los Gauchos Outfitters has several websites showcasing the lodges and the hunting and fishing trips.  Take advantage of some of the international flights that are on sale now before the holiday season.  And know that many of our lodges are American owned and equipped with satellite service for all the football games!

Enjoy you fall while Los Gauchos enjoys the fall weather one week and spring in South America the next week...but always enjoy watching University of Texas Longhorns and LSU Tigers no matter where we are.

Contact Los Gauchos Outfitters today - we look forward to having you down as our guest in Argentina or Uruguay for outstanding hunting and fishing.

Well, here we are the beginning of September. Dove season has started in the USA and don't forget in Uruguay and Argentina the doves are available year round so no big starting day for dove season in Uruguay or Argentina. School has started back...we wait (some of us..) for cooler weather and college football every weekend.
Los Gauchos is proud to have a weekend or 2 before pheasant hunting in South Dakota to sit back and watch the U.T. Longhorns take on anyone and win. Los Gauchos Outfitters is also busy booking reservations for the 2010 duck hunting season in Uruguay. We had a fantastic 2009 season, lots of ducks, professional guides, and great hosts, food, service and times in Uruguay.
Los Gauchos Outfitters looks forward to the 2010 season and don't forget that doves are high volume and fill the sky in Uruguay year round. Come on down and enjoy the South American country of Uruguay.
